Editorial Standards
How our news explainers and film and TV review roundups are researched, written, sourced and corrected.
What we publish
News explainers from the ElysiumHub Newsroom cover markets, business, new technology and the stories people are talking about. Review roundups from the ElysiumHub Screen Desk summarise what published critics say about new films and TV series, and where to watch them officially.
How stories are researched and written
- Every fact comes from at least two independent, reputable sources, or from a primary source such as a company filing, an official statement or published data. If a claim cannot be checked, we leave it out.
- Stories are written in our own words with the help of AI tools, and every fact, number and quote is checked against the sources before publishing.
- Every page lists the reporting it is based on, with links, so you can read the original pieces.
- Quotes are short, exact and attributed. Dates are written out in full rather than as “yesterday” or “this week”.
- Market and business stories report what happened and what analysts said. They are not financial advice, and we never tell readers to buy or sell.
How review roundups work
- We summarise the critical consensus; we do not claim to have watched the film or series ourselves, and we do not give our own rating.
- Critic quotes are exact, 30 words or fewer and linked to the full review. Scores are copied from the sites that publish them, with the date we checked them.
- Plot summaries cover the premise only, without spoilers.
- “Where to watch” links go only to official streaming, rental, cinema and TV services. We never link to unofficial downloads.
Images and video
We only use photos whose licence allows reuse, such as Creative Commons and public domain images, and credit the photographer and licence on the page. We do not use film posters, stills or news agency photos. Videos come from the official channels of news organisations, studios and streaming services.
Corrections and updates
If we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and the page shows the date it was last updated. When a story develops, we update the existing page rather than publishing a duplicate. To report a mistake, please contact us.
