About this tool
Pick a file and the format you need. When the result is WAV and your browser can read the source, the conversion happens on your own device and nothing is uploaded. For MP3, M4A, FLAC and OGG output we convert on our server with FFmpeg, after you agree to the upload.
Server files are stored privately, are only reachable with a link tied to your session, and are deleted within 30 minutes. You can also delete them straight away once your download finishes.
Questions people ask
Which conversions stay in my browser?
Converting to WAV runs in your browser when it can decode the source file. Every other output format needs our server, and we always ask before uploading.
How long do you keep my files?
Uploaded and converted files are deleted within 30 minutes, or immediately when you press Delete my files.
Are there limits?
Server conversions accept files up to 50 MB and 15 minutes long, with five server conversions per visitor per day.
