About this tool
WAV recordings are large. Converting to MP3 makes them small enough to email, upload or keep on a phone. Choose 192 kbps for a good balance, 320 kbps for the highest MP3 quality, or 128 kbps for the smallest file.
Browsers cannot create MP3 files on their own, so this conversion runs on our server. We ask before uploading, keep the file private, and delete it within 30 minutes.

Which bitrate should I choose?
Use 128 kbps for voice recordings, 192 kbps for most music and 320 kbps when you want the best possible MP3.
Is my recording private?
It is stored in private storage, reachable only through your session, and deleted within 30 minutes. Staff cannot browse uploaded files.
