About this tool
Paste Markdown or upload an .md file and get HTML you can publish: headings, paragraphs, lists, links, tables, task lists, footnotes and code blocks, with LaTeX-style maths turned into MathML that current browsers display without extra scripts.
The result is a complete page with simple, readable styling. Preview it on this page, copy the code, or download the .html file. To paste it into a blog or CMS, copy what sits between the body tags. The converter follows GitHub-flavoured Markdown, so text that looks right on GitHub converts the same way. The conversion runs on our server with Pandoc after you agree to the upload, and nothing is kept afterwards.

Which Markdown does it follow?
Before you publish your Markdown as HTML
Give the page a title
Add a YAML block such as title: My page at the top, so the browser tab and search results show a proper title.
Copy only the body for a CMS
Blogs and website builders already wrap your content in a page. Paste only what sits between <body> and </body>.
Maths needs a current browser
Maths is written as MathML, which current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari display. Very old browsers show it as plain text.
